We had: One bedroom, which had to be changed into young boy's room. The room is in rented property, that is why we have limitations. We can change walls' colours and add furniture.
Expectations: The boy is full of energy. We want to use colours to cool him down and convince him to focus on school duties. Furniture must be in a good quality but not too expensive as the boy will grow up quite fast. There should be sofa-bed or bed with additional space to sleep in case of visitors. The mattress is a very important equipment, it must be a good quality as it has huge meaning for children health. In one proposition (yellow one) we have an additional bed for a younger sibling.
A must: calm colours, universal furniture, good quality bed, space for school duties, space for playing. Most of the equipment will stay as it is: doors, windows, carpet, electric points etc.

Solutions:
- Blue colour creates a sense of calm, relaxation and order. It is connected with grey, which gives a modern mood. It is universal and practical. It shows spaces for learning and sleeping which are situated opposite. For creating eye-catching aspects you can use yellow or orange decorations and fabrics.
- Two shades of green to create diversity. Green is a very positive colour, associated with nature. It is associated with nature and gives harmony. It can help to focus on assigned tasks.
- The third proposition is in yellow and grey. Yellow is a warm colour. It helps with memorising things, gives a feeling of happiness and being safe. Space for learning is accentuated with grey wall. Here we can add some blue and warm colour decorations.
